Hi guys, I have been a member for a while, but I dont get on here much. Until now, I hope to be around a fair bit more. I live in Melbourne Australia, I'm 32. I am a car nut, I have a 1988 trans am GTA, nothing special in the USA, but over here that is a very rare car. I collect models of third-gen Trans Ams (to build, not just to look at the boxes like some) and my favorites are the 1:16, of which I have 7. I only started modeling again last year after about 15 years, so I'm not real good and I am only just learning how to add extra details, and my painting isn't great. So anyone that can give guidance with this stuff, it would be much appreciated. Oh, and anyone that has ANY 1:16 third-gen trans Ams or Firebirds that they would be willing to part with, LMK

Welcome and thanks for telling us who you are We have a number of great modelers here so help is no problem just let us know what you need help with We`ll get you over the humps

Thanks mate, my main thing is painting the car shell, like everyone I guess. And adding detail, I'd like to do seat belts but I'm not too sure how

Welcome and hope to see you around for a while. I will give a guy a call for you on the kits you are after. He has some larger scale stuff that he has as builders and such he is selling. And for the help you seek, try watching the help section we put in not to long ago. You may see it there here soon.

Van,
Welcome aboard!!! I just started painting the plastic bodies this year myself (See my Red Baron in the contest section here).I have painted two----but one was a zinger kit so I really didn't count that one.
There are several people here that can help you along.A great group of builders---plenty of ideas that you can get ,too.
