Not really off topic but I didn't know where else to post it.... My dad was probably the biggest influence that got me interested in model building. He built from the mid 50's until about 1964, when he went to work for John Deere Harvester in East Moline, Illinois. Unfortunately none of his models survived (He tossed them out when we moved in 1971) but luckily I found a couple of photos of them a few years back..... This photo is of some of his early stuff, which Dad figures was taken around 1960. Check out the scratch built rail, the V8 Healey and the Ranchero made from a cut down Revell '57 Ranch Wagon kit This photo was taken a year or two later.... Looks like Dad's focus had shifted more toward customs. Here is photographic evidence that I was exposed to model cars at a VERY early age.... I'm the one in the blanket That cool scratch built large scale dragster was made from wire clothes hangers and balsa wood Finally.... here is an old shot of MY collection taken during the summer of 1975. (I was 14 at the time) I was taking a photography class and this photo was one that I took for a black and white assignment.

Nice pictures!!!! In the last picture, lower left corner, don't I spot a '55 Nomad/Camino conversion? ? Seems to have quad headlights, right?
