nice work George. my ONLY question is: what was Barris smokin when he designed this bike? i used to like some of his work then it seems his tastes went sour.
i'm not condemning your work at all, i just don't think Barris had his head in the right place on many of his designs. most of his stuff, i'd bought for parts.

Duane, George Barris build/designed alot of off the wall cars He even put his name to cars he did not build. I like alot of his stuff but overlook his more goofy stuff thanks for the comment on the build I~m glad you like it George

i like it because you have a great touch my friend !!!! there are many custom cars, both 1 . 1's and models(not here) that i'm not crazy about. to me, there are 1 . 1's that use the wrong bits and pieces to customize for instance, i don't like a '54 Pontiac grille in a build and, i've seen so many DeSoto grilles that i want to throw up and panels that dont suit the builds etc. i love little subtle, tasteful touches.
i saw a '51 Ford Sedan at a car show. the owner walked up to me and asked my opinion. he said he bought the car the way it was and he wanted to change it but needed advice.
the owner told me that if it were up to him, he'd take the car home and cut the rear panels off and replace them with originals(he had a set). i told him he needn't go that far, just take the bits and pieces off and relace it with the originals.
whoever built the car had removed the door handles and locks. he then just "threw" some filler in the open holes and painted over it, everything had shrunk. he'd put early '90's vertical tailights with the panels in it and they weren't even close.
there were many great "engineers" who knew what would make a gorgeous built 1 . 1, some have passed and some are still with us. i guess i'm just stuck on the late '40's early 50's customs but as i said, i'm not trashing your build my friend !!!!
