I built this one as part of our tribute to KKIM founder, John Berry, who we honored at our fall meet last October. The two themes at the show were Ed Roth and bubble tops. Now, I'm really not much of a "show rod" fan and had intended to skip building anything for those themes. However, as the show approached, I decided that I had to take part in our tribute to John! So, with the show just one week away, I dove into the parts box and this is what I ended up with...... The car uses parts from several old original AMT kits including the '32 Ford roadster, Ala Kart and '32 Ford sedan, as well as a Revell Parts Pack bubble top. This truly was a junk box build..... Below are pics of the actual parts that I started with!

That is nice ! "Bubbletops" were real popular on the show circuit in the 60s. I'm currently doing a 1959 Corvette with a bubbletop.
