Here we are trying to get the board to grow. But how well do you know say 5 people here? think about it. So I will start this one out. My Name is Kenneth Hawkins. I live in Poteet, Texas. I will reply to this post.No I am not following you to every forum that you go to!!!I am Todd Russell.I live in Fishers, Indiana.I have a beautiful wife, and three terrific kids.I work for a local auto parts store.I also work on cars and build models in my spare time.Family is first as always!!!I am a die hard Indianapolis Colts fan who has season tickets to all of the Colts home games.I am looking forward to our Sunday night NFL home opener September 7th against DA BEARS!!!I enjoy Fantasy football, too. I am the defending super bowl champ in our Fantasy football league.It's good to see more stuff about you, Ken.Thanks for introducing me to this sight.

Ok everyone
Here we go I~m George L Hoover Jr I`m 48 yrs old and live in Warren Ohio I spent 14 years in the U S Marine Corps I love model cars ( planes ships military and the oddball stuff too) Diecast ( I have 1,0000 plus Hotwheels) and HO Scale trains I have a huge magazine and book collection and over 1,400 unbuilt plastic model kits I have about 25 kits in work And many many more ideas. I worked 3 years as a corrections officer working in the segregation unit I`m now a detailer in the industrial division of Timken Yes, Timken as in bearings I work in Industrial Serviices in the chock shop I finish detail assemble and paint bearing boxes ( chocks) for steel rolling mill equipment Currently I`ve encountered a work schedule change due to the fact my boss would like me to also become an assembler Not to make excuses but this is why I~ve not been replying to posts in the near past. My dad gave me the passion for model and real cars and its stayed with me since I began modeling at age 5 I do know some of the members here mostly from other boards but would like to get to know everyone here I try to be here every night even for just a little bit I`ll help anyone with ideas techniques or questions I do a good amount of scratchbuilding and come up with some different style paint jobs using 1 paint over another. So, if I can help in anyway please feel free to contact me and I hope we can all grow together and become more like a community And if anyone has ideas or anything concerning the board or how we do things contact one of us please.

Hi I go by RUSTYCAB.
My birth name is Craig, I am 47 years old, married 27 year to the same lady- We have two girls 26- 16 and 3 grandchildren 2 girls and 1 boy under the age of 2!!!!
I have been building model since around 6 years old.
My mom got me started.
Every week when she went grocery shopping she bought me a model-I would sit down and build that model until it was done and wait for the next week-- I would admire that model all week until the next one came-- Seems like it went that way for a while then I got the idea to do chores and such and earn money and I just kept building up until the age of 18---- Around the age of 23 -24 I got back into it again real heavy up until about 8 years ago and I shut the door on my model room and didnt do anyhting for about 5 years. Then 2 years ago after having neck surgury,
I was off for 8 weeks and started builidng again- Been at ever since.
I build all types of models, but really like the light commercial, diorama, big truck, Farm Equipment-- I love to scratchbuild one of a kind stuff and just last year got involved with resin casting for my own benifit.
In 1987 I started a local Model Club here called Pa. Builders and Collectrs, The Club is still in existence and now goes by the Old Pot belly Gang and meets every other month in Scatdale Pa. The club is now run by Brian Corcoran.
Las t August I started the On line forum "Commercial Truck and Equipment Model Builders Club" , its going well we are small with 43 members, I set it up as a club with membership requirements to keep out some rifraf and to provide a good place for truck builders to hang out- We are TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT ONLY.
All members must make at least 10 posts per month to stay registered and it seems its working out good.
I also restore and collect Garden Tractors as a Summer hobby.
I am an Environmental Manager and have been employed with the same company for 23 years that provide's complete environmental service's to a large Aluminum Reseach and Development facility outside of Pittsburgh, Pa.

I`m John Pol live in Guelph,Ontario,Canada.Been building models sence I was 8 now I`m 50.I build mostly drag cars but do like other builds.I love scratchbuilding and searching old drag car photos.I share my knowledge to anybody and try to help others finished there projects.
